Using a simple shortcode syntax, the 'Embed Google Map' plugin allows easy and quick embedding of a Google Map inside any area of the site where text can be inputted and interpreted.

To configure general map settings, a page has been added in the WP backend where options can be tweaked according to the editor's preferences.

No Google Maps API key is required to use this plugin.

Installation:

Unpack and upload it to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory.
Activate the plugin through the 'Plugins' menu in WordPress.
